About The Position

About the Role & Program Disney Advertising is responsible for advertising sales for The Walt Disney Company’s entertainment and sports offerings through linear, digital, social, audio and ad-supported streaming businesses. This includes ABC, ABC News, Disney Channels Worldwide, Disney Digital, ESPN Networks, ESPN+, Freeform, FX Networks, Hulu, National Geographic Networks and its eight ABC-owned local stations. The Addressable Inventory & Yield Analytics Team focuses on managing digital inventory, forecasting sponsorship opportunities, reporting campaign performance, and identifying growth strategies. Our team collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other key departments to drive results. What You Will Do As an Intern on the Addressable Inventory Analytics team, you will gain hands-on experience in digital media analytics. You’ll assist with evaluating data, tracking performance trends, and supporting team initiatives. This role is ideal for someone excited to learn about digital inventory management and contribute to cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with analyzing data
  • Interest in digital media and marketing trends
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of the Advertising Sales industry
  • Previous experience working in media and entertainment (academic or internship)
  • Knowledge of Disney’s multimedia properties and affinity for The Walt Disney Company
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Analytics, Business, Marketing or related major preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing usage trends and inventory delivery performance
  • Assisting with optimizing inventory for campaigns through collaboration with sales and planning teams
  • Tracking sales opportunities and analyzing new product offerings
  • Assisting with evaluating data, tracking performance trends and supporting team initiatives
