About The Position

About the Role & Program Disney Advertising is responsible for advertising sales for The Walt Disney Company’s entertainment and sports offerings through linear, digital, social, audio and ad-supported streaming businesses. This includes ABC, ABC News, Disney Channels Worldwide, Disney Digital, ESPN Networks, ESPN+, Freeform, FX Networks, Hulu, National Geographic Networks and its eight ABC-owned local stations. Creative Studios is a dynamic, fast-paced in-house design and motion graphics team within the Disney Advertising organization. We create high-impact visual communications that support sales and marketing strategies across digital and print. Our work spans presentations, branded sales materials, web design, print ads, event assets, signage, custom emails, and video editing for sales sizzle reels. We also manage Disney Advertising’s business-to-business website, delivering engaging creative that drives storytelling, brand consistency, and strategic messaging. What You Will Do As a Design & Production Intern, you will actively contribute to a variety of creative projects in a fast-paced media environment. You will be involved in designing presentations, sales and marketing materials, and digital content, while learning how design shapes storytelling and brand communication. This role offers hands-on experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, communications, marketing teams, and external vendors to successfully execute projects from concept through delivery. As an intern, you will balance learning and contributing—working closely with the Creative Studios team while taking ownership of independent tasks. The program dates are June 8th through August 14 2026 .

Requirements

  • Passion for visual storytelling and design, with strong attention to detail
  • Creative, organized, and proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Skilled in Apple iWork (Keynote, Pages, Numbers) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related major preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the design of presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote) for sales and marketing use
  • Creating branded sales materials, print collateral, and digital/web assets
  • Assisting with web and social media content that tells compelling visual stories
  • Managing and organizing creative assets to ensure efficient workflows
  • Applying brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all projects
  • Providing light support for event design, including signage, branded premiums, and potential on-site event assistance
  • Collaborating across teams and vendors to help execute creative projects on time
