St. Joseph's South Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist -PRN/Pool to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in an acute care setting. This PRN role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help patients restore mobility, improve function, and achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PT (Physical Therapy)
- PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain
- PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve strength, balance, and functional mobility.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe movement techniques, home exercise programs, and discharge planning.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient-centered care plans.
