What You'll Do • The following is a summary of the major job processes of this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time: Acts as department liaison for NON procedure areas within the Novant Health footprint and Accute Care Facilities. Helps cultivate the relationship between Supply Chain and NON procedure areas. Collaborates with company reps, physicians, sourcing, value analysis and team members to ensure availability of items necessary for patient care. Actively participates in departmental budgets as well as conserving resources to meet cost containment objectives. While providing cost effective management of supply and equipment resources. Demonstrates fiscal and operational accountability. Orders, receives, transports, and stock supplies/medications within the scope of practice. Assists the Supply Chain Leader in their roles as a member of the planning team. Troubleshoots/seeks out any problems/discrepancies and shares with Manager and NON procedure areas to be proactive in resolution. Provides excellent customer service, relating to customer inquiries, purchase orders, invoice resolution, product research, and par levels. Performs all computer functions related to Lawson, handhelds and other computer systems within Supply Chain. Performs function within Supply Chain Department as needed. Complies with and supports organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Assures compliance with standards of all the accreditation and regulatory bodies and commissions, in relationship to supply management, including JCAHO, OSHA, DHS, and FDA. Maintains and demonstrates professional competency according to department policies, procedures and protocols. Participates in projects and programs directed toward personal and professional growth. Understands and orders based off min/max methodology. Maintains pars by following the Product Conversion and Inactivation Process. Facilitate Product Recall Responsible for all aspects of NON procedure area Inventories in Supply Chain within the assigned hospital. Manages par levels for the NON procedure areas in hospital to include monitoring stock levels and making adjustments as needed. Minimize overstocks and remove obsolete inventory. Helps facilitate the resolution for problems between hospitals, contracting, buyers, distribution center and/or materials systems Ensures that emergency and overnight supplies are ordered and distributed to customers in a timely manner. What We're Looking For

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum three years broad Supply chain experience, required.
  • Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Team oriented with good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Year / Associate Degree Associate's degree preferred, with experience in broad Supply chain, supply chain logistics, planning, and support operations, preferred.
