About The Position

The Acute Dialysis Services Program Manager - RN is responsible for ensuring the provision of quality patient care to all hospitalized patients in accordance with company policy. This role involves direct supervision and coordination of inpatient staff, managing mid-volume monthly treatments, and utilizing the FMC mission, core values, and customer service philosophy to ensure quality service while maintaining efficiency management.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN); Advanced degree desirable.
• Current state licensure as applicable.
• 3-5 years' related experience.
• 3+ years' supervisory or project/program management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through coordination of activities with direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.
• Monitor costs/spending in all areas including medical supply inventory, personnel, and accounts payable.
• Determine innovative ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Ensure proper staffing and operations at all contracted facilities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports.
• Act as an advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
• Responsible for hiring, coaching, counseling employees, including performance reviews, development, disciplinary action, and terminations.
• Review profit and loss statements for understanding specific department performance.
• Maintain and prepare QAI data and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital regulations and participate in surveys conducted by TJC, CMS, OSHA, and other agencies.
• Conduct and document acute staff meetings regularly.
• Ensure provision of dialysis and related services.
• Perform treatments as necessary to assist in times of high census or staffing shortages.
• Confer with Technical Program Manager and Technical Operations Manager to ensure preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with various projects as assigned.
