May perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed. The PCA II is responsible for orientation of new PCAs, coordination of PCA annual competency-based education (CBEs), assisting in PCA recruitment, retention, and scheduling activities, coordinating recurring PCA tasks (e.g. stocking, equipment checks, unit-based equipment disinfecting, et.c), and PCA team meetings, providing peer feedback, monitoring PCA documentation, and actively engaging in department shared decision-making process improvement activities. Conducts Audits (such as hourly rounding), conducts peer interviewing, Orients new PCA/ UC and PCA's. Membership on at least one unit committee, attends required unit based mtgs, education requirements up to date
