About The Position

The Acute Care RN in Emergency Services independently assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates therapeutic nursing care for patients using a variety of information sources. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves onsite patient care at Covenant Hospital Plainview. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Texas Registered Nurse License or New Mexico Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 or more years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients.
• Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.
