The Acute Care Resident RN independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Texas Registered Nurse License -OR- Texas Graduate Nurse Permit upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

Responsibilities

• Independently use the nursing process to care for a group of patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes, and evaluate patient's plan of care.
