Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – On-Site, No Field Work! As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you’ll serve as the admitting and attending provider for adolescent and adult patients in a state-of-the-art, structured facility. Requirements

  • PMHNP-BC licensed in the state of Arizona
  • Unrestricted DEA license
  • 1+ years of experience in psychiatric or crisis mental health care, with youth and adults
  • Strong working knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychiatric care standards
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team
  • Strong skills in clinical judgment, medication management, and crisis assessment
  • Proficient in documentation and use of EMR systems
  • Committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed psychiatric care

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the admitting and attending provider for adolescents and adults in psychiatric crisis
  • Complete psychiatric assessments, risk evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications using evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with patients’ families, guardians, and social services for holistic care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care coordination and safe discharge planning
  • Lead the development and implementation of individualized mental health treatment plans
  • Order labs, review medical history, and conduct focused physicals as appropriate
  • Support policy and program development to improve service delivery
