About The Position
Our pulmonary/critical care team is seeking a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team to provide ICU coverage. The position offers the unique opportunity to work at the top of your license within a collaborative environment. We offer a comprehensive transition to practice program, which includes hands-on clinical training as well as a one-year critical care didactic curriculum to foster professional growth and confidence in the ICU setting.
Requirements
- ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC certification
- Active DEA license
- Minimum 1 year inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospital setting preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on ICU patients overnight.
- Respond to codes/emergencies
- Perform emergent procedures (central line & intubations). Training provided
- Complete appropriate documentation and billing for patient encounters
