About The Position
St. David’s Healthcare would like to recruit an inpatient nocturnist acute care nurse practitioner to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas.
Requirements
- Board certified acute care nurse practitioner
- Licensed in the state of Texas
- Hospital based position managing critical care patients
- Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off
- No on-call requirements
Responsibilities
- Conducting rounds on patients
- Performing assessments
- Coordinating and evaluating the plan of care
- Implementing discharge plans at the direction and supervision of the primary physician
- Administers medications/treatments
- Capable of obtaining arterial and central venous access, intubation
- Competent with patients post VAD/Temp VAD/ECMO
