Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Inpatient General Cardiovascular Medicine team at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current Georgia licensure or eligibility
• Board certification as an ACNP or PA-C
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient cardiology or acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the care of hospitalized patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Perform inpatient consultations, daily rounding, and ongoing patient management
• Conduct histories and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with supervising cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Assist with care transitions, discharge planning, and patient/family education
• Document clinical encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record (EPIC)
