JOB SUMMARY The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine is looking for a provider to join their growing team! This provider will promote, provide, and maintain patient care under physician supervision and in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team. This Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP) will obtain and record complete medical history, performs physical exams according to departmental protocols; obtains and interprets laboratory tests according to departmental protocols; assesses patient database and identifies biopsychosocial needs; develops and implements patient management plan; initiates and manages preventative healthcare; and provide relevant counseling and education to patients and significant others within role limitation. 7 on / 7 off. 7p-7a.
