About The Position

ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an experienced nocturnist acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join TriStar Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The position involves working full-time, covering 24 ICU beds with an average daily census of 12-16 ICU patients, plus overnight admissions. The role requires proficiency in critical care procedures and the ability to manage acute resuscitation and emergent decision-making for covering house-wide Code Blues.

Requirements

• Acute care certified nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Tennessee License or ability to obtain.
• ICU clinical experience required.
• Proficient with and credentialed to perform routine critical care procedures.
• Experience and comfort with acute resuscitation and emergent decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care as a nocturnist nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Cover 24 ICU beds: 12 MICU & 12 SICU.
• Manage an average daily census of 12-16 ICU patients, plus overnight admissions.
• Perform routine critical care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, and management of mechanical ventilation.
• Respond to house-wide Code Blues and make emergent decisions.
• Work full-time, 15 shifts per month, from 7p-7a.
