About The Position

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe hospital in Conroe, Texas. The position involves working in a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on critical care services.

Requirements

• Acute care certified NP or Physician Assistant.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Proficient with and credentialed to perform routine critical care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the ICU.
• Perform routine critical care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, dialysis catheter access, and management of mechanical ventilation.
• Work full-time, completing 15 shifts per month with a mix of days and nights.
• Participate in flexible block scheduling for 12-hour shifts.
• Collaborate with MD and APP onsite during the day and operate autonomously with MD backup call at night.
