About The Position
A well-established, physician-led cardiology practice serving Volusia County is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support its growing cardiovascular services across local hospitals and a community-based clinic. This role is ideal for an APP who enjoys acute, hospital-based cardiology care with some continuity through outpatient follow-up. The group provides comprehensive cardiovascular care and diagnostic services throughout Volusia County and is supported by a large, collaborative team of cardiologists, Advanced Practice Providers, and clinical staff. The practice has deep roots in the community and continues to expand its inpatient footprint.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (board certified)
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license (Florida or eligible)
- Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to high-quality patient care
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology experience preferred but not required
- Strong consideration given to new graduates with cardiovascular RN backgrounds
Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology care primarily within affiliated hospitals
- Limited outpatient clinic involvement to support continuity of care
- Inpatient rounding, consults, and collaboration with cardiology physicians
- Weekend coverage approximately once per month
