Requirements

• Master's Degree in Certified Acupuncturist/Oriental Medicine from College accredited by AAOM or the NCCAOM
• Acupuncturist 1-2 years' experience preferred
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Records
• Ability to post on our Facebook page
• Clinical Acupuncture Certification

Responsibilities

• Abides by TriHealth policies including ethics, privacy and fair employment practices, and all applicable state, federal and business policies regarding HIPPA
• Communicates with the Spa/IHM team, associates and clients. Demonstrates appropriate written and verbal communication skills.
• Gives outstanding service to our patients by using the AIDET+Promise every time. Explain what they can do in between services to stay well.
• Stays current with license, continuing education, Flu vaccine, CPR certification and Mandatory Education as set forth by TriHealth.
• Enters all medical documentation in real time in the appropriate database.
• Provides acupuncture services during agreed upon times, days and location.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates for multidimensional, whole person perspective according to professional standards. Documents the initial assessment/plan of care and each client encounter in the client record, in accordance with established policy.
• Walks clients to the front desk and refer them to schedule another appointment.
• Cross refers if applicable to massage or other services and suggest retail products.
