Job Description Summary: The acupuncturist is responsible for the providing acupuncture treatments scheduled in the Integrative Medicine Department in accordance with State acupuncture licensing requirements. These requirements include: graduate of a school accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and an active license to practice.
Requirements
- High School or GED (Required)
- Field of Study: Accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Field of Study: Medicine (ACAOM) with an active license.
- Years of Experience 2 yrs. Experience
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care through acupuncture
- Identified and implements problems solutions.
- Participates in departmental process improvement efforts.
- Participates in meetings, work related classes and orientation of co-workers.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as needed
