Join the Personal Lines Auto Risk Analytics team as a Grade 18 Actuary! In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team that provides valuable insights and guidance for managing our Personal Lines Auto portfolio. Our team's mission is to provide state indications for tailored profit guidance through timely and robust analyses. This role may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location. As an Actuary, you will lead work on state indications that serve as a foundation for rate guidance, ensuring that our rate actions and underwriting levers improve each state’s profit position. You will play a pivotal role in shaping state indication strategy, leveraging a robust suite of actuarial methods. You will help identify and propose enhancements to our existing processes and methodologies to drive for operational excellence. Additionally, you will be an influential partner with other Risk Analytics subject matter experts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of unique state features, and collaborate with Directors of State Operations to develop customized state levers. Your insights and recommendations will greatly influence state-level decision-making and contribute to our goal of achieving top-quartile profitability. You will build trust, credibility, and strong relationships that will enable you to influence decisions and execution beyond the Auto Analytics team. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and high-performing culture, coaching and mentoring junior team members, sharing your expertise and supporting their development.
