Requirements

  • Near FCAS designation or recent FCAS designation; ACAS with significant experience be considered
  • Maintains continuing education requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of insurance experience preferred, particularly in an actuarial function, with a focus on Commercial Property, Casualty and/or Specialty Lines

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead consultant for account assignments
  • Have primary project responsibility for actuarial reserve analyses, risk allocation analyses, captive feasibility studies, loss forecasting, and stochastic modeling
  • Build actuarial models when data is limited
  • Maintain effective day to day relationships with Aon team/client contacts
  • Prepare and present proposals without substantial oversight
  • Ensure that the Aon work product is of high quality, adheres to all relevant actuarial standards, and is provided in a timely manner
  • Engage as necessary to create and foster a team culture across all account service and brokerage teams
  • Anticipate client questions and develop problem-solving solutions
