About The Position

Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for an Actuary II to join our Finance and Actuarial Team. As a key member of our Finance & Actuarial Team, you won't just be running models—you'll be shaping our business strategy. You will have the opportunity to enhance our pricing and reserving capabilities, tackle challenging actuarial projects, and see your analysis directly influence company performance to help us achieve our vision.

Requirements

College degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related field
Minimum of 5 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams
4+ years of relevant work experience in an actuarial role
High level of organizational and analytical skills with good attention to detail

Responsibilities

Calculating quarterly rate indications for liability heavy lines and completing pricing studies
Analyzing competitor rating algorithms and making change recommendations
Assisting with the evaluation of loss reserves
Overseeing the building of rate books and rate specification documents for rate changes for all lines of business
