About The Position

USAble Life is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Actuarial Reporting Analyst to join our Corporate Actuarial team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in actuarial reporting or data analytics within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and VBA scripting.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SQL, Power Query, or other data transformation tools.
• Familiarity with actuarial models and insurance product structures.
• Exposure to enterprise reporting environments and version control practices.
• 2-5 years of insurance analytics experience for Actuarial Reporting Analyst II.
• 5+ years of experience with demonstrated leadership for Sr. Actuarial Reporting Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial reports using advanced Excel functions and Power BI dashboards.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and data governance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions that support strategic initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to the evolution of reporting standards and best practices.
• Provide moderate to complex analytical support to senior management.
• Develop and modify reports covering financials and strategy.
• Maintain deep knowledge of company data structures and definitions.
• Lead or co-lead cross-functional projects.
• Participate in industry surveys and perform ad hoc reporting.
• Lead complex analytics to support top and bottom-line growth initiatives.
• Produce comprehensive variance reports between actual and planned results.
• Communicate findings across all levels of the organization.
• Own report functionality, enhancements, prioritization, and issue resolution.
• Serve as primary contact for external partners.
