About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Actuarial Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience with actuarial tools, data analysis, and financial modeling. You’ll work alongside credentialed actuaries and gain exposure to real-world projects while preparing for an actuarial career.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Pursuing actuarial designation
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SAS, or VBA) is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Completion of at least one actuarial exam (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Perform various analyses of current and future performance
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation of findings
- Cross-team collaboration on new or ongoing projects and initiatives
- Perform ad hoc research and data validation as needed
