We are currently seeking Actuarial Interns for our 2025 Summer Internship Program which will run from the end of May through the beginning of August of 2025. Our interns will experience the day-to-day challenges of real actuarial work and contribute to the financial success of our operating divisions by assisting with pricing decisions, experience analyses, and reporting of financial results. The ideal intern should possess strong initiative, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Interns will be involved in preparing actuarial reports under the direction of an actuary, running programs to collect and summarize data in Excel to assist actuaries in various studies, and assisting actuaries in the analysis of products for which they are responsible. Participation as a team member in both group and individual projects is expected, along with assisting in the review and examination of quarterly and annual statements. Interns will also help with pricing, experience analysis, and forecasting, along with other job-related duties as assigned. Our internship will not only utilize your current skills but will also enhance them. Housing will be provided for interns who live outside of a 15-mile radius of our Lake Forest office. We currently work a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week remote.
