Learn more at our company’s website: Y-Risk We are currently hiring for a detail-oriented and analytically driven Actuarial Consultant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with underwriters and actuaries to develop pricing models, analyze risk trends, and support data-driven decision-making. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in Unionville, CT, designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, in-person environment. This position works closely with the Y-Risk underwriting team developing the pricing for new and renewal business across all lines including Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Inland Marine. Active participant in daily underwriting meetings evaluating opportunities and participating in underwriting/pricing decisions. In this position, you will be involved with monthly and quarterly results monitoring including developing claim count expectations for larger accounts and providing projections for actual vs expected monitoring. You will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Y-Risk, the markets it serves, and the various pricing approaches. This position provides the opportunity to work on new initiatives, including the Connected Customer, working with our data engineer on automated data reporting, automated audit calculations, and data visualization around exposure information and actual vs. expected tracking.
