About The Position

The Specialty lines Actuarial Product team is seeking an ACAS or near-ACAS professional to contribute expertise in Property and Casualty insurance, particularly in the Cyber industry. This role involves leading projects to innovate and enhance Cyber product offerings, serving as a product expert, and collaborating with various divisions to support and improve existing actuarial products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related majors.
  • ACAS or near-ACAS designation is desired.
  • 3+ years' experience leading teams or projects with a focus on customer relationships and actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of market, industry, customer, and competitor trends.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics modeling is preferred.
  • Strong computing skills, including SAS, SQL, Syncsort, Access, and Excel; experience with JAVA is a plus.

  • Experience with project-oriented programming such as JAVA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects independently to develop enhancements and innovations to actuarial products and procedures for Cyber.
  • Collaborate closely with other ISO divisions on new products that may be actuarial or underwriting focused.
  • Provide actuarial analyses to support, maintain, and enhance existing Cyber actuarial products.
  • Contribute to the development of a modern rating infrastructure for class rated and specifically rated risks.
  • Analyze market, industry, competitor, legal, and regulatory trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Interact with regulatory authorities to support filings of loss cost reviews and new/enhanced products.
