Verisk’s Government Relations Department (GRD) is seeking a driven and analytically minded Actuarial Associate (ACAS or near‑ACAS) to play a critical role at the intersection of actuarial science, regulation, and public policy. This is a unique opportunity to influence how insurance products, pricing, and catastrophe models are reviewed, approved, and adopted across the U.S. regulatory landscape. In this role, you will partner closely with Verisk’s Underwriting Solutions and Catastrophe & Risk Solutions (CRS) businesses—supporting flagship ISO Core Lines Programs, predictive analytics initiatives, and catastrophe models that shape the insurance industry. You’ll engage directly with state regulators, provide actuarial insight on complex filings, and help drive strategies that enable timely regulatory approvals while fostering strong, collaborative regulatory relationships. If you’re an actuary who enjoys combining technical rigor with communication, negotiation, and real‑world impact—and who wants exposure to a broad range of insurance lines, products, and regulatory environments—this role offers a rare chance to expand your influence beyond traditional actuarial boundaries while continuing to grow your professional credentials and expertise. For over 50 years, Verisk has been the leading data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry by delivering value to our clients through expertise and scale. We empower communities and businesses to make better decisions on risk, faster. At Verisk, you'll have the chance to use your voice and build a rewarding career that's as unique as you are, with work flexibility and the support, coaching, and training you need to succeed.
