This position is intended for a candidate seeking growth opportunity in a dynamic organization. The Actuarial Assistant is responsible for providing actuarial support to the Actuarial Pricing unit, including but not limited to: rate filings, model testing, actuarial report production, data calls, database management and basic analysis. Some actuarial experience, preferably in pricing, is preferred but not required. This position reports to the Associate Actuary who will provide general supervision, but project work will be done for multiple actuaries throughout the Actuarial Pricing unit. The Actuarial Assistant also will be part of the company's Early Career Program. The Early Career Program Actuarial Track is a one-year training program geared toward ambitious college graduates looking to launch a high-performing career with a world-wide insurance leader. During the one-year program, Actuarial Assistants receive specialized training that can position them for career advancement and valuable industry certifications.
