About The Position

The Actuarial Assistant role at AIG involves supporting the actuarial function by monitoring portfolio performance and advancing analytics within the Contract Bind business. Requirements

• BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area
• 1 or more exams and actively pursuing ACAS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in SQL or R preferred
• Experience in Power BI is a plus
• Strong business and collaboration skills
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of monitoring tools to help Underwriting understand the book of business.
• Assist in the production of pricing studies for Contract Bind business segments.
• Assist in the development of pricing and underwriting strategies.
• Work with programming to implement rate actions.
• Assist in the planning process for Contract Bind.
• Assist in the reserve review process.
