About The Position
Our Actuarial Office is currently seeking two Actuarial Analysts to join our team and drive our CalPERS mission. Under direction of the Actuary Analyst Supervisor, the Actuarial Analyst (AA) will perform entry level actuarial calculations and assignments in the Valuation Support Services Unit within the Actuarial Office of the California Public Retirement System (CalPERS). The AA will be taking a subordinate role in the quadrennial Experience Study and will be expected to become proficient in developing a decrement probability curve study. The AA will be expected to work on the annual valuations following training and mentorship with little to no oversight.
