The Activity Therapist provides appropriate assessment, treatment groups and record keeping on all patients involved in Creative Therapies program. Activity Therapist performs all functions as outlined in Title XXII under activity therapy. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Represents specific specialization as well as Creative Therapies Services as a whole within the clinical program.

Requirements

• Must be a registered nurse or have relevant qualifications in activity therapy.
• Experience in providing therapeutic activities and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate assessment and treatment groups for patients involved in Creative Therapies program.
• Maintain record keeping on all patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Represent specific specialization and Creative Therapies Services within the clinical program.
