Position Summary: Reporting to the Clinical Programs Manager, the Activity Therapist provides appropriate assessment, treatment groups and record keeping on all patients involved in Creative Therapies program. Activity Therapist performs all functions as outlined in Title XXII under activity therapy. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Represents specific specialization as well as Creative Therapies Services as a whole within the clinical program.

Requirements

• Must have relevant qualifications in activity therapy or a related field.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a therapeutic role.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in activity therapy or related therapeutic modalities.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate assessment and treatment groups for patients involved in the Creative Therapies program.
• Maintain accurate record keeping for all patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Represent specific specialization and Creative Therapies Services within the clinical program.
