About The Position

Activity Security Representative, Lead Key Role: Provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. Perform a wide range of day-to-day security functions to ensure the protection of company and government sensitive and classified information in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Work without considerable direction with some guidance from the Special Security Office (SSO), Facility Security Officer (FSO), and Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) in implementing security procedures to enable military, contractors, government civilians, and other tenants to support critical missions. Apply specific functional, working, and general expertise in multiple security fields, including personnel security, document control, visitor control, physical security, classification management, and prime and subcontract DD Form 254 administration. Interact with government security officials, clients, and employees to perform security duties, including clearance processing, personnel security record management, adverse reports, administrative inquiries, suspicious contact reports, visit certifications, and document control, and support industrial security efforts as needed. Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of staff, and coordinate and conduct security briefings, debriefings, and Security Awareness Training and Education (SATE) sessions. Ensure the security program is compliant with DoD security requirements and prepare for and participate in security compliance audits and vulnerability assessments.

Requirements

  • Experience using Defense Infrastructure Security for Systems (DISS) and Joint Access Database Environment (JADE)
  • Experience researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices
  • Experience escorting facility visitors and maintaining associated logs
  • Experience conducting entry and exit inspections
  • Experience processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining all customer sponsored billets and quota information
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience supporting daily Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities for the DoD, or 5+ years of experience supporting daily Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities for the DoD in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with security policy and manuals and ICDs, JFANs, DoD, and other guiding policy documents
