Activity / Programs Coordinator - La Vida Real
About The Position
Educate families and staff on the benefits of the Club to maximize resident opportunities. Promote resident participation for those who would benefit. Work in conjunction with the Activity Director to develop the monthly Club program calendar and Resident Daily Schedule. Organize Club outings with activities staff. Arrange for clinical assistance for residents as needed (restroom escorts, medication assistance, etc.) Assist in Club dining services to enhance resident dining experience including coordination of mealtimes. Set up for and clean up after events and activities. Drive vehicle to designated locations as needed. Keep records of trips. Submit reports relating to mileage, repairs, gasoline, supplies and usage.
Requirements
- CNA or experience as caregiver preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certified
- High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must hold valid and applicable state drivers’ license and hold a clean driving record.
