About The Position

The Activity Instructor has a variety of responsibilities such as registering program participants, maintaining records, conducting facility and vehicle inspections, operating vehicles and equipment safely, and planning, coordinating, and implementing youth activity programs. Must possess basic computer knowledge and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess a Class 'C' Commercial Driver's License or be able to obtain one within the first six months of employment. Must be available to workdays, evenings and weekends as needed. Schedule may vary depending on Daylight Saving Time adjustments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience as a leisure service instructor
• Valid South Carolina Class 'B' Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one during the initial six (6) month probationary period
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
