About The Position

As a Activity Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive activities, and life-enrichment program that enhances the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being of our residents. This role ensures that activities are meaningful, engaging, and aligned with residents' interests, abilities, and care plans.

Requirements

• Certified Activity Director certification
• 1 - 2 years experience as an activity director in long-term care facility
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• You will plan and implement individual and group activities in your facility.
• You will schedule events that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional health.
• You will post monthly and weekly schedules through out the facility.
• You will provide consistent supervision of activity aides, their duties, documentation and work habits.
• You will direct the writing of facility newsletter.
