Our senior living community is looking for a strong Activities Director who can lead a dynamic department and create meaningful experiences for the residents who call our community home. This role is perfect for a leader who isn’t afraid to set clear expectations, hold a team accountable, and inspire staff to do their best work—all while ensuring our residents enjoy engaging, purposeful, and fun daily programming.

Can balance compassion for residents with accountability for staff performance

Nice To Haves

Experience leading activities or life enrichment in senior living, assisted living, or memory care
Prior supervisory or department leadership experience
Experience planning events, outings, and recreational programming
A genuine passion for working with older adults

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Life Enrichment/Activities team
Create and maintain a vibrant, well-organized activities program that meets the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of residents
Ensure activities are delivered consistently and at a high level of service and quality
Coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable for performance and participation
Plan events, outings, and special programs that residents truly look forward to
Collaborate with other departments to create a warm, engaging community environment
Maintain schedules, calendars, and documentation for activities programming
