Requirements

• Outgoing/friendly demeanor
• Positive can-do attitude- even in uncomfortable situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
• Possess valid drivers license
• Desire to work with the elderly and/or mentally ill.
• Confidence working on computer/Ability to learn programs.

Responsibilities

• Must be comfortable using/learning computer and programs such as Microsoft Word.
• Friendly/Inviting/outgoing appearance and demeanor
• Collaborate with Activity Director and Residents to create monthly Activities calendar.
• Assist in ensuring activities on calendar happen.
• Assist the Activity Director prepare special snacks for residents.
• Set up the activity or dining room tables for activities.
• Clean up after all activities.
• Assist with completing required logs and charting.
• Assist in keeping all activity areas clean, safe and free from clutter.
• Assist residents to and from activities.
• Must have valid drivers license to drive company vehicles assisting with outings and Dr. appointments.
• Some weekends and evenings required.
• Other duties as assigned as building needs direct.
