About The Position
As an Activity Coordinator at Alta Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing a variety of activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents, ensuring they remain active and engaged. You will also be responsible for conducting initial assessments, maintaining progress notes, and developing care plans that align with the residents' preferences and abilities. In this role, you will assist residents in participating in daily activities, provide transportation to appointments, and ensure that all residents have access to necessary support. You will have the opportunity to work closely with residents on a one-on-one basis, fostering relationships that contribute to their overall well-being. Additionally, you will be involved in planning the monthly calendar of activities, coordinating with volunteers, and participating in outings that enrich the residents' experiences. Your commitment to ensuring that call lights are within reach and responding promptly to residents' needs will be crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive environment. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $15 per hour, with opportunities for frequent pay increases.
