About The Position

Responsible for assessing and providing quality services and meaningful activities for residents based on individual assessments. Customer Service: Follow the MOSES principles: Mission, Ownership, Success, Excellence, and Service.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in geriatrics, special populations, and recreation activities preferred.
  • Ability to manage time, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 250 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Practice Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center’s values and mission.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor individual and group activities for residents.
  • Research and implement new programs tailored to residents’ needs.
  • Adapt activities for dementia residents based on their abilities and interests.
  • Collaborate with administration and other departments to coordinate services.
  • Maintain and order activity materials, ensure safety, and provide documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, assist with Resident Council, and support family and community events.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
