About The Position

The Activities Associate II works under broad supervision with general exercise of independent judgment in the planning, coordinating, and implementing of a comprehensive community life program to meet the needs of residents. Implements activities and programs that encourage independence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and certification/registration in a related field preferred.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of the methods and techniques of comprehensive multi-level recreation programs.
  • Knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices related to the rehabilitation of residents.
  • Knowledge of relevant facility handbooks, policies, procedures, regulations, and statutes.
  • Maintains current certification/registration.
