LCB Senior Living is hiring as-needed Activity Assistants at The Residence at Valley Farm. This role involves assisting in the planning, developing, organizing, and implementation of all residence activities. The Activity Assistant will also develop suggestions and ideas for improving and expanding the Activities Program. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a professional, warm, and caring relationship with residents and families. Responsibilities include assisting in arranging transportation and escorts for residents to and from outside and community activities, helping with maintaining and expanding Volunteer Programs, assisting residents with the residence store, and managing department supplies. The assistant will also help residents to and from activities, contribute to the monthly newsletter and/or weekly calendar, and attend required on-going in-service training sessions and orientation. Driving residents in a company van is required as needed, and the ability to perform dual tasks and work independently is essential.
