About The Position

Mother of Good Counsel Home is currently looking for an enthusiastic, lively and compassionate individual to join our team as an Activity Assistant. Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Ability to motivate, encourage residents in meaningful, purposeful activities throughout the day and evening
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
Basic proficiency in computer skills
Ability to carry up to 25 lbs
Must possess good communication and social skills
Self starter who's able to think on their feet and take initiative

Nice To Haves

Preferred one (1) year experience working with memory impaired seniors
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Driver's License

Responsibilities

Transporting residents to and from activities and providing protective oversight.
Preparing materials for activities and cleaning up the area when finished.
Directing resident activities.
