About The Position

Spring Mill Pointe, is hiring a part time & per diem Activity Assistant to join our team! Schedule: Part Time- Every Other Weekend Shift: 9-5pm Pay: $17 - $18 per hour Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading daily activities, programs, and special events. Encourage resident participation and create a welcoming atmosphere at all activities. Support the development of individualized approaches for residents with diverse needs, including those living with cognitive impairment. Help prepare activity materials, set up and clean up spaces, and maintain an organized activity environment. Contribute ideas and feedback to improve program quality and resident satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school Level diploma, GED or equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in recreational activities preferred.
  • Vocational/technical training that includes care of elderly with dementia desired; equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities preferred
  • CPR certification is a plus
