About The Position

At Peak Resources, a leading NC nursing home, memory care and assisted living company, with nine locations across North Carolina, our top priority is providing a relaxing and comforting environment that focuses on the well-being and happiness of our residents. We strive to hire and employ the skilled staff who help our goals of enhancing the quality of the lives of our residents. We are currently seeking a qualified Activities Assistant to join our team. Full-time or Part-time and various shifts may be available. Full-time positions include benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, Paid time off (PTO), and 401(k) retirement plan.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace

Nice To Haves

  • One to three (1-3) months of health care related experience or training

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Activity Director in providing an ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment the interests and physical mental, psychosocial well-being of each resident.
