Job Summary and Qualifications The Activity Assistant position reports directly to the Clinical Director and is responsible for implementing general recreation activities with direction/assistance from the Activity therapist. Assists with Activity Therapy groups and activities both on and off the acute unit. Southern Hills Hospital is a 260+ bed acute care hospital. We provide emergency and pediatric emergency services. Our facility also offers a behavioral health unit serving teens and adults, an accredited Chest Pain Center , a Certified Primary Stroke Center and a dedicated orthopedic and spine unit. In addition, Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center provides women with top level care with our OB-GYN, Level III NICU, diagnostic imaging and surgical services. Requirements

High School Diploma
Minimum one (1) year experience working with psychiatric, physical rehabilitation or medical patients
CPI certification within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Degree or coursework in music, art or recreation preferred
Preferred previous recreation experience with an emphasis on groups

Responsibilities
