The Activity Assistant assists the Resident Programs team in leading and executing the Resident programs for the community. Resident programs should encompass activities that engage all the senses and provide purposeful daily social and physical events that meet state requirements. The Activity Assistant carries out a specific set of tasks to fulfill the mission of the Resident Program Department. The Activity Assistant provides transportation when needed, provides support to the Program Director as needed and implements resident activities on a daily basis. Pastoral Engagement (Non-Denominational Focus) In addition to traditional life enrichment responsibilities, this role will also include providing non-denominational spiritual support and programming for residents. The Activities Assistant will help nurture residents' emotional and spiritual well being by: Leading optional weekly Bible Study gatherings and discussion groups. Coordinating and facilitating Sunday Vespers (non-denominational church service). Offering Compassionate presence, encouragement, and inclusive engagement to residents of all faith backgrounds. Collaborating with community leadership to create meaningful, uplifting experiences that honor residents' diverse spiritual traditions and values. This is a Part-time position
