The position involves engaging with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction. The role includes driving the company van on organized outings, interviewing residents upon admission to determine their likes and dislikes, and documenting their participation in activities daily. Additionally, the position requires planning and maintaining an inventory list of activity equipment and supplies, evaluating the overall effectiveness of the resident's activity program, and modifying it as necessary to meet the residents' needs and interests. The individual will also plan and coordinate the Community newsletter, coordinate with the resident council to ensure resident input into the activity program, and manage resident shopping orders for those unable to shop independently. Continuous learning and development opportunities are encouraged through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Must hold valid driver's license
  • A minimum of 21 years of age preferred with driving record in good standing
