About The Position

Eden Senior Care, founded in 2016, is a growing Healthcare Management company focused on managing and operating Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Assisted Living communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin & Ohio. Our mission with each community is to support their success by providing strong leadership, corporate support, and the resources and tools to realize their goals. Friendly Village, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Aide to join our team. We are looking for individuals committed to enriching the lives of our residents through purposeful engagement. The Activity Aide will be responsible for organizing and leading person-centered activity programs, including one-on-one interactions, small group sessions, and larger group events. This role also involves accurately documenting resident participation and the effectiveness of activities in the medical record.

• Must be available to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
• Prepare and maintain reports on resident's progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well-maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
