About the position
The Activity/Transportation Aide will plan, develop, organize, implement and schedule all transportation for residents in for a variety of offsite services needed for their care. This role includes completing appropriate paperwork requirements and assisting with activity programming. The Aide will develop and maintain positive relationships with residents by striving for excellence in service and quality.

Requirements
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and carry valid insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Must meet Fairlawn’s Insurance Driver Guidelines: 25-70 years of age with approved driving record history.
- CPR Certification preferred, or willing to obtain.
- Driver Training program required.
- Experience in transportation is preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all personnel, residents and families.
- Must be comfortable in traveling and driving anywhere.
- Ability to listen and provide compassion and excellent customer service quickly and effectively.
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift supplies and equipment.
- Must be able to handle equipment such as cell phone or radio.
Nice-to-haves
- CPR Certification preferred.
